Athora Netherlands Announces Resignation of CFO Yinhua Cao

Today, Athora Netherlands N.V. announces that, by mutual agreement, Yinhua Cao will step down as Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Board of Athora Netherlands N.V., effective on 1 May 2021.

His financial expertise and leadership have been key in the development of Athora Netherlands and improvement of its financial foundations. Athora Netherlands is now well-placed to continue the execution of its new strategy to become the number one pension provider in the Netherlands. On behalf of the Executive Board and our employees, we wish Yinhua success in this next chapter of his career.”
The Supervisory Board of Athora Netherlands N.V. is grateful for the dedication and commitment of Yinhua Cao to the company over the past years. Maarten Dijkshoorn, chairman of the Supervisory Board: “After the acquisition by the previous shareholder in 2015 and the acquisition by our new shareholder, Yinhua has helped to stabilise the company and led it through an extensive transformation. This has resulted in the structurally improved company that it is today. We are grateful for his efforts and wish him success in the future.”

A successor for the CFO position will be announced in due course. Yinhua Cao will remain with the company until May 1 to ensure a smooth and effective transition.
